Visiting the Angkor Wat temples and spending time in Siem Reap is by far one of our favourite highlights of our entire trip. Plus, we shamelessly broke in our selfie stick for the first time!

Check out all of our pictures of the stunning Angkor Wat complex as well as a few silly ones from Siem Reap on our Flickr HERE.

  1. You know I love you both… But after seeing the pic on your blog using the selfie stick (which sounds totally dirty, btw), I’m afraid you will have my love but have to earn back my respect. Oh heavens…

Loved the sunset story- nothing quite like town bonding! What a cool thing to be a part of!! 😉

    • Haha so many people hate on the selfie stick but it’s much better than seeing Luke’s arm in half of the picture! Honestly, at the right angle you can’t even tell we’re using one. If you have the guts to use one, I recommend it. We only use it sparingly but have begun to really love the pictures we take with it 🙂 Plus, it’s Asia and they all use them daily hahahaha so can we get a pass and swear to burn it once we come back to Canada? 😉 xo – Samie

  2. So are you guys doing any teaching? How has that been working out for you?
Continuing my love of your blog – sometimes I come here every day hoping to see something new.

    • Hey Susi – We did some teaching in Hanoi for two months before deciding to move on. We have been enjoying Cambodia and the south of Thailand these last few weeks before we head back to Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam to teach yet again. We can’t wait to tell you all about it! Sorry the updates are slow — being in Cambodia was tough internet wise and then again on the islands of Thailand, and THEN our charger decided to conk out on us 😉 We’re back in action now haha. – Samie

  3. Looks like Susi needs to get a life… 😉
You realize that you can hook it up so that every new blog/comment is sent driectly to your email in-box, right? If you look on the bottom of this page (for me anyways) there is a tiny box that says “Notify me of new commens via email.” I recommend you do that.
